CPU Core Verification Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a CPU Core Design Verification Engineer - Contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional verification focusing on core level test planning, stimulus development, and regression debugging
- Create comprehensive test plans based on ISA and microarchitectural specifications
- Develop architectural and microarchitectural coverage for core features and support design deployment across simulation and emulation platforms
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with at least 5 years of experience
- Strong background in high performance out-of-order CPU microarchitecture
- Experience with one or more ISAs such as x86, ARM, or RISC-V
- Proficient in debugging RTL and DV in simulation environments
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PERL) and hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)
