Creative Associate Director

Job Summary

To elevate the visual output of key accounts, the remote Freelance Associate Director, Creative will lead art direction for multi-channel campaigns, mentor a team of designers, and ensure cohesive aesthetic execution across various platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the art direction for pitches and flagship projects, ensuring high standards of design and composition
• Guide and mentor junior to mid-level Art Directors and Designers, providing craft-based feedback to enhance their work
• Lead the visual narrative across campaigns, ensuring a cohesive look and feel in film, digital, social, and physical experiences

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in art direction or design within a creative agency or high-growth brand environment
• Mastery of art direction, layout, typography, and integrated visual storytelling across various platforms
• Experience leading small teams or overseeing freelancers and junior creatives
• Expert-level knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Ability to articulate complex visual concepts to non-visual stakeholders and clients
