Job Summary
Providing operational and regulatory leadership, the full-time remote Credentialing and Accreditation Director will manage enterprise credentialing, recredentialing, and accreditation activities across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving performance through collaboration with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee credentialing, recredentialing, and clinical privileging processes to ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory standards
- Lead and evaluate operational managers and staff, establishing performance expectations and supporting succession planning
- Direct preparation for accreditation surveys and regulatory reviews, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and responses
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory surveys, accreditation reviews, and compliance monitoring
- Advanced knowledge of credentialing and privileging principles and applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience with OPPE/FPPE processes and complex credentialing issue resolution preferred
- Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CPMSM, CPCS) preferred
