Credentialing Liaison

Job Summary

To support a remote revenue cycle team, the full-time Credentialing Liaison will manage outsourced credentialing coordination, monitor provider enrollment and recredentialing processes, and verify payer participation while maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to the outsourced credentialing partner, overseeing enrollment, recredentialing, and provider onboarding
• Maintain the athenaOne enrollment worklist, ensuring accuracy of provider and payer enrollment statuses and follow-up actions
• Coordinate payer notifications and documentation for acquired practices and facilities, tracking compliance and implementation milestones

Required qualifications

• At least two years of experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, or related revenue cycle management roles
• Knowledge of payer enrollment processes, credentialing documentation, and experience with athenahealth/athenaOne is preferred
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and project tracking tools
• Experience working with multistate physician groups and outsourced credentialing vendors
• Ability to manage deadlines and conduct independent research effectively
