Job Summary
Providing Credentialing Management for the Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program Office, the full-time Regional Credentials Manager will process healthcare-provider credentialing applications, maintain provider records, and collaborate with clinical leadership, all in a remote capacity with minimal travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Complete and process healthcare-provider credentialing and recredentialing applications in accordance with NGB/SGOK guidance
- Maintain up-to-date records for credentialed providers, ensuring compliance with deployment and training requirements
- Act as an Authorized Agent for the ANG to manage provider enrollments and monitoring in the NPDB CQ system
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant medical/health systems experience, preferably in a Military Health Systems environment
- At least 1 year of experience in credentialing management or equivalent experience in a military or civilian setting
- Knowledge of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 44-119 and related credentialing guidance
- Ability to work with military/government proprietary databases and applications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 4 years of equivalent credentialing training or relevant health services administration experience
