Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote Credentialing Manager will oversee credentialing processes, manage a team of Credentialing Interns and Specialists, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and compliance in mental healthcare delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Credentialing Interns, Associates, and Specialists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and optimizing team performance
- Streamline credentialing workflows and prepare comprehensive credentialing packets for the Credentialing Committee, including managing relationships with Credentialing Verification Organizations (CVO)
- Conduct audits of credentialing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards while facilitating continuous process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred or 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of experience in credentialing, compliance, or healthcare operations, with a focus on team leadership and process management
- Strong background in managing credentialing operations and familiarity with NCQA standards and delegated credentialing agreements
- Experience in conducting audits and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
- Proficiency in credentialing software and systems, as well as reporting on credentialing metrics
