Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end processes of verifying healthcare provider qualifications, the full-time Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist will work remotely to secure network participation with insurance payers while facilitating onboarding and revalidation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing activities for onboarding initiatives and track the status of these activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions for new practices and providers
• Maintain and update databases for facilities and practitioners, ensuring accurate credentialing information is available

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Compliance with all HIPAA policies
• Satisfactory criminal background check
