Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare startup, the fully remote Credentialing Specialist will manage provider onboarding, credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment across multiple states while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment for licensed clinicians
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of provider credentialing files and databases
• Support provider onboarding and respond to credentialing inquiries from various stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of credentialing workflows and primary source verification
• Experience managing credentialing and enrollment across multiple states
• Proficiency with credentialing systems and Microsoft Office
