Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing healthcare practice, the remote Credentialing Specialist will manage provider credentialing, licensing, and onboarding activities, ensuring timely start dates and uninterrupted patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing and recredentialing activities, including documentation collection and application tracking
• Process and track initial provider license applications and renewals across state licensing boards
• Support Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment submissions and follow-ups as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in provider credentialing within a healthcare setting
• Hands-on experience with provider licensing processes, including initial applications and renewals
• Familiarity with CAQH, Medicare PECOS, and payer portals
• Proficient in credentialing systems and data management tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• High school diploma or equivalent required
