Credentials Specialist

Job Summary

To support credentialing processes, the full-time Credentials Specialist will manage provider applications, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain accurate records in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process provider credentialing applications and re-credentialing activities
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to provider credentials
• Maintain and update provider records in the credentialing database

Required qualifications

• Experience in healthcare credentialing or related field
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation processes
• Proficiency in using credentialing software and databases
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration preferred
• Certification in credentialing (e.g., CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
