Credit Associate
Job Summary
To support loan growth initiatives, the full-time Credit Associate will serve as the credit specialist for Relationship Managers, analyzing client performance and coordinating with the credit team to assess new debt opportunities in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze prospective client performance and debt needs while recommending appropriate credit structures
- Monitor existing borrower performance and proactively raise credit concerns to mitigate risk
- Conduct financial analysis, including historical trend analysis and financial forecasting, for new and existing borrowers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of relevant banking experience
- Experience analyzing Fund and Sponsor Banking deals and underwriting C&I credits
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial statements
- Expert knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
