Credit Resolution Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Credit Resolution Escalation Specialist will monitor and resolve credit balances and refunds from billing system overages, ensuring compliance with billing standards while collaborating with a team to deliver superior service.

Key responsibilities

• Process, research, and resolve escalated credit balances and refunds from the billing system
• Review refund request letters and determine appropriate resolutions based on contracts and guidelines
• Analyze data from reports and identify trends, notifying relevant departments as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Three years of experience posting insurance payments in a healthcare setting
• Three years of experience reading insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements preferred
• Knowledge of various insurance plans and EOB statements
• Ability to read and apply state and federal laws, regulations, and policies
