Credit Review Officer
Job Summary
To support the Commercial Credit Review Group, the full-time Credit Review Officer will conduct independent assessments of commercial and retail borrowers, evaluate credit risk, and communicate findings to management, with the option for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze credit files to assess the accuracy of risk ratings and compliance with lending policies
- Identify and communicate emerging portfolio risks and develop management action plans for remediation
- Conduct examination pre-planning tasks and lead update and exit meetings with line of business stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with significant experience in commercial lending or credit review; Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of credit analysis experience, including complex corporate lending and commercial real estate
- Supervisory experience is required
- Preferred certifications include CPA, CFA, or RMA Credit Risk Certification
- Formal training in credit and audit principles is preferred
