Credit Risk Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing analytics team, the full-time Credit Risk Analyst will evaluate new account data for credit decisioning, manage existing account behaviors, and analyze credit product profitability, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze applicant data to support credit decisioning and build real-time dashboards for risk evaluation
- Monitor account-level behaviors and identify trends to refine risk models and improve collections strategies
- Support P&L analysis of credit products and develop models to evaluate customer lifetime value and profitability segmentation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or credit analytics, preferably in fintech or SMB lending
- Fluency in SQL/SAS and familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
- Strong understanding of credit underwriting principles and SMB financial analysis
- Experience interpreting financial statements and cash flow data from banking sources
- Familiarity with credit bureau data and commercial credit reports
