Credit Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Credit Specialist on the Credit Advisory team within the Underwriting department, the successful candidate will validate data integrity, manage risk and fraud rules, and recommend underwriting stipulations to enhance credit model accuracy and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manually assess the accuracy of owner, business, and cash flow data for customer applications
• Execute pre-decision fraud controls and manage the escalation pipeline to the Fraud Operations team
• Provide recommendations for appropriate stipulations to be added to deals prior to final model review

Required qualifications

• Analytical mindset with a focus on data validation and quantitative control
• Ability to identify patterns and spot potential data integrity issues or fraud indicators
• Strong collaborative skills to work across departments like Portfolio Strategy and Fraud Operations
• Self-motivated professional with a track record of exercising good judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate English fluency
