Job Summary
Overseeing the credit review and approval process for prospective customers, the full-time Credit Specialist will conduct comprehensive credit analyses and make lending decisions while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review credit applications and retain documentation for compliance purposes
- Verify customer information and manage the credit report process using third-party systems
- Collaborate with branch staff and the Credit Manager to communicate credit decisions and support customer onboarding
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis, finance, and/or lending
- Knowledge in economics, accounting, and finance with the ability to analyze risk
- Experience working with liens is preferred
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
