Credit Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing the credit review and approval process for prospective customers, the full-time Credit Specialist will manage credit applications, conduct analyses, and collaborate with team members in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve credit applications for customers across various business lines
• Organize and maintain credit review documentation for compliance and accuracy
• Communicate with branch staff and the Credit Manager to ensure thorough credit evaluations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis, finance, or lending
• Familiarity with third-party credit vendors and credit analysis tools
• Knowledge in economics, accounting, and finance with the ability to analyze risk
• Experience working with liens is preferred
