Credit Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing the credit review and approval process for prospective customers, the full-time Credit Specialist will manage credit applications, conduct comprehensive analyses, and collaborate with team members in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review credit applications for customers across various business lines and retain all credit review documentation for compliance
• Oversee the verification process for renters and manage the credit report pull process using third-party systems
• Collaborate daily with the Credit Manager and branch staff to share credit decisions and support customer onboarding

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis, finance, or lending
• Knowledgeable in economics, accounting, and finance with the ability to analyze risk
• Experience working with liens is preferred
• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
