Job Summary
Overseeing the credit review and approval process for prospective customers, the full-time Credit Specialist will conduct comprehensive credit analyses and manage documentation for EquipmentShare's rental, sales, and materials business lines in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and approve credit applications, ensuring thorough evaluations and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with the Credit Manager and branch staff to communicate credit decisions and support customer onboarding
- Analyze credit reports from third-party vendors and determine appropriate lending decisions, including the need for Personal Guarantors
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, finance, or lending
- Knowledge in economics, accounting, and finance with the ability to analyze risk
- Experience working with liens is preferred
- Proficiency in using credit verification tools and software
