Crypto Compliance Director
Job Summary
Owning the compliance strategy for Ria's stablecoin vertical, the full-time Crypto Compliance Director will manage regulatory requirements, assess financial crime risks, and collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure compliance in the evolving crypto landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the strategy and roadmap for stablecoin settlement and on-ramp/off-ramp services
- Advise teams on new stablecoin products from concept through launch, translating regulations into actionable requirements
- Lead the implementation of crypto compliance tools and maintain the AML/CTF and sanctions framework
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in AML/CTF, financial crime, or regulatory compliance with hands-on crypto experience
- Deep knowledge of US regulatory frameworks for crypto and stablecoins
- Experience with blockchain analytics tooling and crypto custody/settlement infrastructure
- Understanding of international crypto regulations and their practical applications
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
