Job Summary
To redefine the future of education, the full-time remote CS Learning Designer will develop interactive programming courses and design engaging learning games that teach computer science concepts using Python.
Key responsibilities
- Develop hands-on programming courses to teach CS concepts using Brilliant's Python learning game
- Design new visual, puzzle-driven learning games that teach foundational principles in algorithms and computational thinking
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create new interactive features that enhance the learning experience
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or above in a STEM field with experience in research or teaching beyond traditional curricula
- Extensive use of AI agents for coding and a strong opinion on core concepts important in agentic coding
- Experience in teaching complex topics through clear, hands-on steps
- Proficiency in creating engaging interactive content for learners, including in asynchronous contexts
- Strong writing skills in English, particularly for communicating challenging concepts
