Job Summary
To support a growing literacy initiative, the part-time contract Curriculum Builder will create Science-of-Reading-aligned lessons and materials, update existing curriculum, and ensure quality assurance for educational resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build new lessons, practice activities, and student materials aligned with the Science of Reading
- Update and create educator-facing materials in preparation for a product launch
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of curriculum materials for accuracy and brand consistency
Required qualifications
- Strong grounding in the Science of Reading, including phonemic awareness and comprehension
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or writing curriculum for K-6 readers
- Creative and design-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week, scheduled flexibly
