Job Summary
Working remotely from anywhere in Canada, the full-time Custom Import Analyst will manage the clearance of international truck freight imports by liaising with clients, shipping companies, and Canada Customs during the night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure international truck freight imports are cleared for entry into Canada by coordinating with multiple third parties
- Input required information into the database using various computer programs
- Communicate effectively with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone to resolve discrepancies
Required qualifications
- Clearance and rating experience required
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Customs Brokerage environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and database skills
- Custom Import Analyst experience is mandatory
