Job Summary
To support customer growth and data expansion, the full-time Customer Data Engineer will work remotely, engaging with hospital clients to facilitate data integration, guide technical requirements, and enhance internal tooling for efficient implementations.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales teams to evaluate client data and define technical requirements during late-stage sales cycles
- Lead technical workshops with hospital IT departments to map data structures and drive data extraction timelines
- Serve as a trusted data advisor, translating complex integration requirements to clients and facilitating seamless implementation handoffs
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years in a technical pre-sales or implementation role within a B2B SaaS environment, preferably in health tech
- Proven ability to manage customer-facing technical engagements and communicate data requirements effectively
- SQL proficiency and experience analyzing complex datasets
- Direct experience with major EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and secure data transfer protocols for handling PHI
