Customer Proposals Specialist

Job Summary

To support the proposal development process, the full-time Customer Proposals Specialist will create accurate, compelling responses to RFPs and other procurement requests for EBSCO's FOLIO Library Services Platform, collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related SaaS solutions
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate proposal projects from initial review through submission, ensuring quality and compliance
• Research library workflows and EBSCO solutions to create complete and accurate proposal content while maintaining a response repository

Required qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a sales or corporate environment with a focus on communication or writing
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, or proposal development experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate information across stakeholders
• Master of Library Science or equivalent graduate library degree preferred
• Experience in responding to formal procurement documents such as RFPs and RFIs is advantageous
