Customer Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Customer Reliability Engineer will triage and resolve customer issues related to AI workloads on GPU clusters, manage incidents, and develop monitoring tools to enhance system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and fix customer issues, debugging at the Linux and Kubernetes layers while managing the resolution process from start to finish
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to alerts and customer-reported outages while keeping customers informed during incidents
• Collaborate with external providers to determine fault sources and ensure timely resolution of issues, while building and improving monitoring tools

Required qualifications

• Proficient in Linux troubleshooting from the command line, with the ability to analyze logs, processes, and networking
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including pods, nodes, and deployments, with the ability to investigate issues effectively
• Experience writing scripts in Python or Bash to automate repetitive tasks
• Strong written communication skills for clearly explaining technical issues to customers
• Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure and manage escalations appropriately
