Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Customer Support Specialist (NPWT) who will manage new order intake, provide patient care support, and handle third-party reimbursement tasks in a fully remote environment, working Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm MST.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of initial intake, including answering calls, collecting patient information, and processing paperwork
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks, ensuring accurate billing and documentation
- Provide education and technical assistance to patients and referral sources regarding services and billing processes
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of documentation and insurance requirements for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)
- One year of related work experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
- Strong customer service background preferred
