Customs Brokerage Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Cross Border team, the full-time Sr. Customs Brokerage Specialist will manage daily operations for customs clearance on various cross-border shipments, communicate with freight forwarders and vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee dynamic shipment holds and examination resolution
- Collaborate with logistics teams and service providers to resolve shipment issues
- Audit compliance-related data submissions and maintain relationships with government agencies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in Trade Compliance and/or Supply Chain industry as a customs agent, compliance specialist, or in customs operations
- Expertise in FDA regulations and other relevant customs-related matters
- Ability to advise clients on import restrictions and tariffs
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or as a customs broker is preferred
