Job Summary
To support efficient customs operations, the full-time Junior Entry Writer will process customs entries, review documentation for compliance with US regulations, and communicate with clients and carriers, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process and submit customs entries accurately and in a timely manner
- Review documentation for completeness and compliance with US Customs regulations
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and facilitate timely shipment clearance
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or ecommerce operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with US Customs procedures and entry types (e.g., Section 321, informal, formal entries)
- Strong attention to detail and high data accuracy
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a remote setting
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using brokerage or logistics platforms and Excel/Google Sheets
