Job Summary
To support customs operations, the full-time Junior Entry Writer will process and submit customs entries, review documentation for compliance, and communicate with clients and carriers, all while working remotely from within the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Process and submit customs entries accurately and timely
- Review documentation for completeness and compliance with US Customs regulations
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and facilitate shipment clearance
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or ecommerce operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with US Customs procedures and entry types
- Strong attention to detail and high data accuracy
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a remote setting
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using brokerage or logistics platforms and Excel/Google Sheets
