Cyber Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Cyber Claims Specialist, this full-time remote position will manage a portfolio of primary first-party cyber claims, progressing from supervised to independent file handling while collaborating with underwriting teams and external vendors to ensure optimal claim outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end adjudication of primary first-party cyber claims with increasing independence
• Analyze coverage issues and draft clear, well-reasoned correspondence
• Coordinate with external counsel and specialized vendors to assist customers in responding to cyber incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1-5 years of related work experience in claims handling or insurance
• Willingness to obtain required adjuster licenses
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• A legal background (J.D. or paralegal experience) or technical familiarity is a plus
