Cyber Defense Manager

Job Summary

Leading the global cyber defense capabilities, the full-time Cyber Defense Manager will oversee security operations, threat detection, incident response, and team development while working remotely or from various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a global team for security operations, ensuring effective coverage and continuous improvement
• Oversee 24x7 security monitoring and incident response, including coordination with cross-functional teams during significant incidents
• Build and maintain a threat intelligence capability that translates insights into actionable strategies for cyber defense

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in security operations and incident response within a global technology environment
• Strong understanding of modern attacker techniques and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Hands-on knowledge of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence platforms
• Experience with digital forensics, breach notification, and regulatory compliance requirements
