Cyber Risk Management Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a multidisciplinary team, the full-time Cyber Risk Management Engineer will manage cyber defense platforms and drive the integration of AI into the SOC, focusing on automation and strategic planning to enhance threat detection and response capabilities in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute the cyber threat management engineering strategy to advance automated, AI-augmented cyber operations
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, aligning team priorities with enterprise cyber risk management goals
- Champion the adoption of AI, machine learning, and automation to enable autonomous investigation and response capabilities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, cyber risk management, or security operations, with at least 1 year in leadership roles
- Strong expertise in detection engineering, platform engineering, and Security Automation, Orchestration, and Response (SOAR)
- Proven experience leading transformation initiatives involving people, processes, and technology
- Deep understanding of enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and cloud security tools
- Experience applying automation, orchestration, and AI/ML to cybersecurity operations
