Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Monitoring and maintaining the security of client systems, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will triage incoming alerts and reports, perform minor responses to non-complex security events, and escalate serious incidents to senior staff while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming alerts, reports, and metrics to perform triage
• Perform minor responses to non-serious, non-complex security events
• Document steps taken and recommend improvements to processes and tools

Required qualifications

• Basic understanding of SOC practices and incident response processes
• Strong understanding of the Windows operating system and ecosystem
• Experience with ticketing and tracking systems
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols and malware analysis
• Preferred certifications include Security+, E|CIH, and GCIH
