Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting 24x7 operations in a Cyber Security Operations Center, the part-time Cyber Security Analyst will focus on advanced cyber threat monitoring and detection, incident analysis, and leveraging AI/ML to enhance SOC efficiency while working remotely during the assigned night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Support continuous monitoring, detection, and management of advanced cyber threats
• Conduct deep-dive incident analysis by correlating data from multiple sources to assess impact on critical systems
• Utilize AI/ML tools to detect anomalies, automate triage, and improve threat intelligence

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 3+ years of direct experience in cybersecurity and SOC operations, or 7+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity automation and SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Proficiency in network traffic analysis and threat detection methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT control frameworks
• Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance as a U.S. Citizen
