Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for the initial response and classification of security incidents, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will work remotely to manage alerts, escalate significant threats, and maintain documentation while ensuring timely and accurate incident triage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial response for all security incidents generated from managed services tooling
• Accurately classify security incidents into MITRE categories
• Quickly identify true positive and false positive security alerts and escalate significant incidents

Required qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• CompTIA CYSA+ certification
• 1+ year of SOC experience
