Cyber Security Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Veterans Health Administration Enrollment System, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will manage security authorization documentation, coordinate continuous monitoring activities, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the VES System Steward within VA's ServiceNow Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM) platform
- Develop and maintain ATO authorization packages, including security controls and supporting evidence
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments and security control assessments to maintain the VES security posture
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity
- Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Strong knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and federal security authorization processes
- Experience with ServiceNow CAM or similar Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
