Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

As part of a remote team, the full-time Senior Cyber Security Analyst will monitor and respond to security events, develop automation for security workflows, and enhance threat detection processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for escalated security events, leading incident response from triage to post-incident review
• Develop and maintain automation for security workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to enhance security measures and monitoring coverage

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms, including detection engineering
• Working knowledge of scripting or automation tools such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience with cloud security monitoring (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and NIST
