Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Cyber Security Analyst will support a Federal civilian agency's Security Operations Center (SOC) by detecting, analyzing, and mitigating potential intrusions and security incidents while collaborating with a team of experienced security professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement incident response strategies
- Utilize various cybersecurity tools and technologies to enhance security posture and incident detection
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience in Network Security
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and major Internet protocols
- US Citizenship
- Strong desire to learn and experiment with new technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
