Cyber Security Analyst III

Job Summary

Providing expert support in cybersecurity governance, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst III will manage cyber risk identification and mitigation efforts remotely while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity maturity and risk assessments using industry frameworks, identifying gaps and developing remediation plans
• Collaborate with stakeholders to track remediation efforts and facilitate risk mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives
• Develop and maintain risk assessment reports and dashboards, communicating trends and emerging risks to leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in Information Security
• Direct experience performing cybersecurity risk assessments and applying frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity domains including identity and access management, network security, and cloud security
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC are preferred
• Experience in a regulated environment, particularly within large financial institutions, is highly desirable
