Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on owning application security throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and managing vulnerability assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline
• Perform security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities
• Manage GitHub Advanced Security triage findings and enhance scanning coverage and workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in application security or security engineering
• Demonstrated experience securing CI/CD pipelines and conducting code and dependency scanning
• Working knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, and DLP platforms
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST
