Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and expertise for cloud platforms, cloud-based system and application security during design and implementation
• Design and develop security engineering documentation for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems
• Design and implement cloud-native and 3rd party architectures to meet business requirements with the appropriate security controls

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cyber or Technology focused position
• Firm understanding of Azure Cloud Platform and M365 security offerings
• 3+ years of direct experience across the Microsoft Cybersecurity Reference Architecture (MCRA) with an explicit focus on cloud, endpoint, data, event management and Identity & Access Management
• Experience working with enterprise class Endpoint DLP and DRM (Digital Rights Management) solutions
• Understanding of Zero Trust and familiarity with ZTA as defined in NIST SP 800-207
