Cyber Security Engineer III

Job Summary

To enhance the Bank's digital security, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer III will assess networks and systems for vulnerabilities, mitigate cyber threats, and develop data engineering solutions, with the opportunity to work remotely from NC, AZ, VA, or TX.

Key responsibilities

• Assess organizational networks and applications for potential vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks
• Streamline data sourcing and organization processes using Python, PySpark, and SQL to support analytics efforts
• Engage in hands-on development and manage technical documentation related to data engineering initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of experience in building data engineering pipelines on cloud platforms such as Snowflake and AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience in developing data applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud data engineering and processing
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and IT infrastructure concepts
