Cyber Security Exposure Response Lead

Job Summary

To enhance the cybersecurity posture of the enterprise, the full-time Cyber Security Exposure Response Lead will investigate critical vulnerabilities, coordinate incident responses, and provide technical leadership while working remotely across U.S. time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on investigations of newly disclosed CVEs, zero-days, and critical exposures, refining scope and impact as new information emerges
• Lead exposure events as Incident Commander, making timely decisions and coordinating multiple workstreams to drive effective responses
• Coordinate with technology and security teams to establish ownership and drive remediation efforts while maintaining operational continuity

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technology operations involving technical investigation and incident response
• Proven ability to lead high-priority operational events and make sound decisions with incomplete information
• Strong technical skills in correlating data from multiple sources and determining required actions
• Experience mentoring or training analysts in exposure investigation and incident response techniques
• Ability to coordinate across technical teams and drive issues toward resolution without direct authority
