Cyber Security Investigator

Job Summary

Leading cyber incident investigations, the full-time Senior Investigator, Cyber Security will triage alerts, collect evidence, and document findings while working remotely to address insider risks, data loss, and suspicious user activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations involving cyber incidents, insider risks, and data misuse while preparing clear summaries and recommendations for stakeholders
• Apply incident response methodologies to assess suspicious activity and correlate evidence to distinguish between benign and malicious actions
• Maintain complete case documentation and ensure evidence integrity, while coordinating with cross-functional teams on sensitive cases

Required qualifications

• Experience in incident response, cyber investigations, or threat intelligence with a focus on advanced persistent threats (APTs)
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, and other security platforms
• Proven ability to brief both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Background in operations security, information security, or compliance-related fields
• Strong documentation and evidence handling skills; bilingual communication is a plus
