Cyber Security Penetration Tester

Job Summary

As a full-time Cyber Security Penetration Tester, the successful candidate will conduct comprehensive penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and cloud services while working remotely to enhance security measures and identify vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing across web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services to identify and document security vulnerabilities
• Perform Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST and DAST) to uncover insecure coding practices and runtime vulnerabilities
• Produce detailed technical reports that communicate findings and remediation recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in manual and automated penetration testing of modern web applications and infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of application security principles, including the OWASP Top 10 framework
• Experience with programming technologies such as .NET, Java, Node.js, and Python frameworks
• Familiarity with industry-standard security testing tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, and Burp Suite Professional
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or relevant industry certifications such as OSCP or CEH
