Cyber Threat Hunter

Job Summary

To support the secure delivery of high-stakes programs, the full-time Cyber Threat Hunter will engage in proactive threat hunting, incident response, and detection engineering in a remote environment, utilizing AWS and other tools to enhance the organization's cyber defense posture.

Key responsibilities

• Execute hypothesis-driven threat hunts and document findings to improve detection capabilities
• Support incident investigations by analyzing logs and contributing to the development of incident response playbooks
• Participate in purple team exercises to validate detection effectiveness and enhance security measures

Required qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in cyber defense, including threat hunting or incident response
• Strong foundational knowledge of AWS security and cloud-native telemetry
• Hands-on experience with security telemetry tools, including EDR and SIEM
• Experience in documenting investigations and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
