Cyber Threat Hunter

Job Summary

To support a client in the cybersecurity sector, the fully remote Cyber Threat Hunter will conduct proactive threat hunting across network, endpoint, and cloud environments, investigating malicious activities and collaborating with security teams to enhance defense strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify malicious activity before alerts are generated
• Investigate security events and indicators of compromise using threat intelligence and log analysis
• Partner with SOC and Incident Response teams to validate findings and support remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, or security operations
• Strong networking and IT infrastructure knowledge, including TCP/IP and firewalls
• Experience analyzing security logs from SIEM, EDR, and other monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and cyber threat intelligence concepts
• Relevant certifications such as GCFA, GCIH, or CISSP are preferred
