Cyber Workforce Analysis SME

Job Summary

To support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command, the full-time Cyber Workforce Analysis SME will establish a baseline for workforce requirements, analyze mission demands, and recommend staffing solutions while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive taxonomy of the command's missions, functions, and tasks with clear ownership and success criteria
• Conduct structured interviews and validate task definitions, workload, and operational impacts using recent incidents and exercises
• Create a transparent workload-to-FTE model and forecast manpower needs over three to five years, producing decision-ready reports and implementation roadmaps

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of relevant DoD experience in manpower analysis or workforce planning
• Direct experience conducting or supporting a DoD manpower study or organizational assessment
• Demonstrated ability to translate mission demand into workload drivers and staffing requirements
• Experience modeling 24/7 operations and reconciling staffing levels
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance and ability to meet security requirements
