Job Summary
Supporting cybersecurity operations in a swing shift position, the Associate Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts while collaborating with incident response teams and customers to ensure timely remediation and documentation of findings.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts and potential security incidents
- Participate in cybersecurity incident response investigations and document security incidents from detection to resolution
- Analyze security logs and data from multiple sources to identify potential threats and recommend appropriate actions
Required qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, networking, or a related technical field
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity operations and incident response concepts
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and core networking technologies
- Familiarity with intrusion detection concepts and security event correlation
- Basic understanding of data backup and recovery concepts
